Whether it's to keep cork particles out of expensive wine or assist the fragile-wristed cork puller, the Trilogy Table Corkscrew from Screwpull is the one of the world's most sophisticated instruments for cork removal. Not only does this clever table corkscrew take the work out of cork removal for effortless bottle opening, it now pushes the cork off the screw as well, thanks to Screwpull's ingenious new Activ-ball mechanism. To open, simply turn the handle and the screw drives into the cork's center. Turn the other way and the cork effortlessly exits the bottle. Then, while holding the corkscrew (and not the cork), turn the handle again and--voila! The Activ-ball pushes the cork right off the screw! Pinch down on the sides to keep the cork from falling, and then reinsert it with the same ease.
